My name is Craig Hippensteel and I have been actively working on and with computers for 17 years. I have developed a passion for working with computers and helping people set them up and learn how to use them. While I enjoy working with computers generally, my main passion is designing and building web sites. In addition to helping people locally in Northeastern Illinois, I am the (sole) full time Webmaster and Publications Technology Specialist for Township High School District 211 in Palatine and the greater Schaumburg area of Illinois, the largest high school district in Illinois. The web site I build and maintain for District 211 is at: http://www.d211.org.

I am a CERTIFIED WEBMASTER (www.ciwcertifed.com - the world's best webmaster certification) I am continually in training to keep my skill up to date.

I specialize in Web Design (as opposed to Web Application Development) and am quite allergic to hand coding. For the programs listed below I have many, many plug-ins.

I am comfortable and fluent on both PC and Mac and spend about 10-12 hours a day in front of a monitor. I also like woodworking (small projects) and go to church twice a week. I am very grateful for what the Lord has done for me, including the gift of being able to understand (at least somewhat!) and enjoy computers.
